Alcaston Gallery is delighted to present the sixth solo exhibition of Naomi Hobson, whose exciting art practice has seen her become one of Alcaston Gallery’s most sought after artists. Continually pushing the boundaries of her painting style, Hobson's work contains a growing confidence and maturity as a contemporary painter. 

Naomi Hobson is a finalist in the 2017 Sunshine Coast Art Prize to be held at the Caloundra Regional Gallery, Queensland. In 2016 Naomi Hobson won The Alice Prize - Australia's National Prize for Contemporary Art. She was a finalist in the prestigious Geelong Contemporary Art Prize 2016, and the 33rd National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Award. 

The artist's work is held in the National Gallery of Australia, Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, Araluen Art Collection, Artbank and notable corporate and private collections.
