Alcaston Gallery's Curatorial and Administrative teams support the needs of artists and clients.

Founding Director Beverly Knight, together with her dedicated curatorial team consists of Adriana Del Medico - Gallery Manager & Senior Curator, Lauren Brand - Curator (Exhibitions) and Kaitlyn Gibson - Curator (Collections & Logistics). The curatorial team is supported by our Accounts Manager, Sharon Matthews, and Office Manager, Ana Itsines.

Gallery Manager & Senior Curator Adriana Del Medico completed her Bachelor of Creative Arts and Post Graduate Diploma in Arts Management at the University of Melbourne; with nearly 20 years’ experience in contemporary art, specialising in First Nations art, she has contributed her knowledge, skills and experience in the curatorial support of numerous national and international exhibitions, projects and commissions. Her relationships with Alcaston Gallery clients ensure their needs are met through personal contact with artists, which ensures our continued success, integrity and regard.

Our highly educated and experienced curatorial team manages the complexities of the real and virtual business of art together with our administration team, who ensure our financial success and a day-to-day work environment. Volunteers and interns also play an important role in learning and transferring knowledge through our team.

The Director and curatorial teams' keen eye for detail, enthusiasm for contemporary Australian and International Art, and specialisation in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art, ensure the continuing development of the knowledge and expertise of the Alcaston Gallery team.
